The Interview

Andrew: What is the #1 thing you do to maintain your health??

Andrew: Where is your favorite place in the world?

Lauren: I have traveled to over 50 countries. I could not possible pick a favourite. My favourite places are ones where I remember to believe in magic, when I am reminded to be curious and when I see whimsy. Anywhere that I can stargaze, swim in a warm ocean, go skinny dipping where plankton glows, smell a cedar forest, lay on moss, bathe in geothermal hotsprings, eat delicious food, walk with wonder and feel touched by mother nature is my favorite place.

Andrew: Beach or Mountains?

Lauren: Depends, am I snuggling?

Andrew: Was there one moment or event that set you on track for a healthy lifestyle?

Lauren: Yes. I was partying, a lot. I crashed emotionally and mentally and realized how unsustainable that was and how unhappy it made me. I committed to moving, eating and living in a way that would nourish my soul.

Andrew: What ONE thing would you recommend everyone should do daily?

Lauren: Practice gratitude before bed.

Andrew: Where do you draw inspiration from?

Lauren: The ocean, the forest, my dog, instagram sometimes (less so lately it has gotten so competitive and the algorithm is making it suckier), Oprah's Super Soul conversations, lots of wellness entrepreneurs, spiritual leaders and my meditation practice.

Andrew: Can you sum up your philosophy on health in one sentence?

Lauren: Be kind; to yourself, to your body, to others. Move, live and breathe in a way that nourishes yourself, mind, body and soul. Act in as an example to inspire others to make positive changes in their lives.
