About Alice:

Alice is a compassionate fitness instructor, yoga teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, sound healer, meditation teacher. 

The roles in life she embodies are as a life partner to a beloved guy, Chris, Mom, sister, daughter, Mimi, (Grandmother) true friend and devoted practitioner/teacher to her students and clients.


The Interview

Andrew: What is the #1 thing you do to maintain your health??

Alice:  I lead a balanced life in all ways, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. 

Andrew: Where is your favorite place in the world?

Alice: A toss up-

Kona, Hawaii or Lakewood, OH. 

Andrew: Beach or Mountains?

Alice: Beach and mountains!

Andrew: Was there one moment or event that set you on track for a healthy lifestyle?

Alice: After reading the book Be Here Now by Ram Dass in 1981 at age 21, I began my meditation journey. 

Andrew: What ONE thing would you recommend everyone should do daily?

Alice: Acknowledge and express gratitude. 

Andrew: Where do you draw inspiration from?

Alice: Ram Dass- Meditation teacher and so much more.

Pema Chödrön- Berkeley housewife turned Buddhist Nun author, teacher. 

The late Fred Rogers- of Mister Rogers fame, he helped me teach my developmentally disabled brother to speak better.  He helped me to be proud of my life. 

My mom & my daughters. I learn from each of them daily. 

Andrew: Can you sum up your philosophy on health in one sentence?

Alice: Learning and applying self-care in all areas, body, mind, spirit and soul, in a way that is meaningful and impactful.
